In January 2020, our class explored Tokyo and Shanghai in order to have a direct experience that would aid in a better understanding of how the average person perceives and constructs “Asian” culture and its stereotypes and representations.

Throughout this month, we gained a greater understanding of Asia through completing assignments that helped us interact and experience China and Japan.
